Stamford

Post by hairysaddlebags » 25 Aug 2015, 13:21

Could be an interesting one this. Looking at their first three results they've scored loads but let in even more to lose all three games:-

EVO-STIK N PREMIER Sa 15Aug 2015
Nantwich Town 6 - 3 Stamford

EVO-STIK N PREMIER Tu 18Aug 2015
Stamford 2 - 3 Rushall Olympic

EVO-STIK N PREMIER Sa 22Aug 2015
Stamford 3 - 4 Ashton Utd

Will we have a field day against their leaky defence?

If we went to a brothel we'd come out sucking our thumb! ;)

They're scoring and I feel we look shaky at the back...ok, enough of my pessimism! :P

This game does represent a good chance to get a win and get back on track. We're at home to a team that have lost their first three fixtures.

Should we win, we'd remain on par with where we were last season after four games. I'd have taken two wins out of the first four games, bearing in mind we've played a (seemingly) good Skem team away and Colwyn Bay at home - who I'd expect to be there or thereabouts.

Looking forward to this!

One of the few fixtures we managed to film both home and away last season. Here are the two videos to get you in the mood for this evening, although if you compare the standard of the home fixture to our most recent video, the difference in quality is incredible.

Video quality. Although maybe there's an argument for on the pitch quality too, but I'm not going in to that. I was only talking about the difference in our video production standard ;)
