Only Stamford have scored fewer in the league than Halesowen this season. It all comes back to the fact many think it's been a great season. It's been ok, but since the 50 pts it's been very poor. 9 points from 15 games! And for me, just beating S*******dge doesnt hide that. Curzon have had a great season

We have done better than Belper, they've got relegated conceding 96 goals along the way - twice as many as us!

If you want to use the goals issue too, let's look at the goal difference, we also have a better goal difference than every team below us in the league as well as Barwell. The better the team generally, the better the goal difference. I agree, the season could have been better, I'm sure John Hill would acknowledge that, but it's also been a season where we've progressed really well and have built firm foundations for progress next season.
I'd agree if the form over the past two months hadn't been so bad. Had we finished the season strongly I couldn't disagree. But when teams finish seasons as we are, it can carry over into the next season. Those strong foundations can disappear very quickly

The talk of form is key really isn't it? If we'd gone through the season with a W-L-D-D-W-L type record we'd all be ok with that. However, when we went on a great run we we're talking play offs, now we're talking of relegation form. Funny bunch us football supporters aren't we?

Rather unpopularly, I've been pretty consistent all season. I've been sceptical for a long time even when the results were good.

Our tired small squad - gave all they could yesterday.

12 players available against a team battling for play off positions.

A good away following in a poor 167 total crowd.

Enjoyed the day.

Too kind Mr.Guest. The more information in the updates means the less I've managed to consume in beer...
