He's in Crete with no feckin sun, plenty of rain and dreaming of dreary Halesowen nights in mild October, great win though!

Good win even allowing for their awful run and great to keep a clean sheet. Up one place I reckon. Top 3 all lost tonight:

Ashton 1 Skelmersdale 0
Grantham 3 Buxton 1
Workington 3 Curzon Ashton 2
Rushall 0 Barwell 3
Matlock 3 Frickley 0
FC Utd 0 Blyth S 0
King's Lynn 1 Belper 0
Nantwich 2 St******dge 3
Ilkeston 1 Stamford 2 (last night)

What a battle , thought our back 4 were outstanding tonight especially the two full backs they were excellent , we struggled a little when Macca went off and they threw everything at us ,
Great save by our keeper , and a special mention to the fans who sang and encouraged for 90 minutes ,

Thought we rode our luck second half, they had quite a few chances and we didn't offer much upfront or in midfield. Still, a win's a win.

I hope certain people note how we struggled when we went 442 as opposed to 451.

That says it all.

Great win and full credit to Sarge. String of fine saves tonight. Easily man of the match for me.

Such a vital win. Win against Belper and this will be a massive week for us.

Proud as always.

Up the Yeltz.

Well done lads. A great win.

Their league position is false, and they're nowhere near a team in the bottom 3. Just as we made Buxton graft really hard on Saturday they did the same to us tonight. In this league every team will have a 20 minute spell and because we didn't get that second goal it gave them the opportunity to throw everything at us. Not a criticism of our boys by the way, I thought we were unlucky not to add a second goal.

It was a crucial 3 points and another good home win under the circumstances. It seemed like we were kicking into the wind all game which didn't help us 'get out' at times but the boys as ever grafted brilliantly. Special mention to Matt Sargeant whose save with 10 minutes left was absolutely top draw. Aaron Griffiths also at LB I thought played particularly well alongside a great back 4.

Well done lads, looking forward to the Flag biters arrival on Saturday!
