Great result. That first home win makes a big difference - up to 16th.

Re: Rushall Updates
I was a little worried at 1-0 at half time with us kicking into the cross wind. I needn't have worried, the boys showed great battling qualities and dare I say looked a much fitter, stronger and resilient side than our opponents.
The second goal certainly enabled us to play with a little more confidence and we saw the game out comfortably even adding a well deserved third when the subs Christie and Turner combined brilliantly.
I was a little surprised to see the impressive Joel Kettle left out tonight, but I have to say I was really impressed with Tesfa Robinson. Quick, strong, comfortable on the ball and was very vocal at the back too, another player with leadership qualities in the starting XI. We have some great competition for places in this squad and game by game they're getting better as confidence grows.
The second goal really was a killer, a match defining moment - a lovely ball in from Tonksy I think it was, put in at pace, and a trademark Joe Hull header which left their keeper stranded. I thought it really settled our nerves and as they got more desperate they began to launch the ball to their forwards and our back four dealt with everything comfortably. The third was a great breakaway goal, an inch perfect pass by Isedyn and a very cool finish that Turner never looked like missing.
Not as good a crowd as I'd have hoped, but the fact Rushall only bought about 10 fans didn't help, along with the abysmal weather. Some new fans seemed to join the singers today, and tried to initiate some Anti Stourbr*dge songs. Whilst I don't want to sound like a killjoy and appreciate their efforts to get involved it's a bit like Blues singing about Villa and the Wolves about the Albion (and vice versa) when they're not playing each other. It's pointless, sounds tacky and doesn't really encourage our lads. Let's keep it pro-Halesowen and not give a crap about them lot at the end of the No9 terminus eh?

Great result. Deserved result. Great fitness and tatics.
Nice to see Christie coaching Lait as they came off after winning 3 nil.
Yeltz 27 the ref laughed when we boo'd him has he came off (banter) he said how could we boo him having won 3 nil.
I agree I said cut out the anti sametic stuff about Stourbr*dge sing songs to encourage our team and lads.
Not cold at all,
