According to Chas someone has scored 7!

And two players scored 6 in a season in the 1940's. We are checking if Colin Brookes was there!!

Bloody hell! If we beat them 7 -1, what sort of a state are hereford in?

Not long got back. An easy enough win and some much needed goals to help boost confidence. Ben's goal came from a great run driven pull back by Laity, a nice finish for Ben. Then whenever we put in a cross from a corner or free kick they looked incredibly fragile and we honestly looked like scoring every time we had a ball into the box. Joe Hull was unlucky when hitting the bar in the first half. All the headlines will undoubtedly and correctly go to Isedyn for his masterclass of finishing but notable mentions must go to Curtis in midfield who I thought was excellent and Thompson-Browns crossing from wide positions.
You can only beat what is put in front of you and they in truth were poor, however I was particularly pleased that at 5/6/7 the expectation on the players from the management was to keep doing things right, keep moving the ball and keep working hard to press the ball down to enable them to make mistakes. It would have been easy to see the game out but we kept playing to the end. Hopefully Ben's injury at the end is nothing serious as he took an almighty whack.
A great turn out from the Yeltz faithful too making up probably 80%-85% of the crowd. Some great flags on display too!
