Re: Workington Updates
With such a big crowd it was a shame it was generally a sub standard performance. A bright start fizzled out and we barely troubled their keeper in the 2nd half when the only route into the box seemed to be Tonks's long throws which by and large they dealt with. They didn't do that much more but looked solid and more likely nearer to goal. I couldn't see us scoring once they took the lead and taking off Lait reduced the creativity.

Re: Workington Updates
After FC United away we had the biggest gate. Well done to all involved in getting the crowds in. Although a shame we did not win we were not thrashed
The referee should have worn a Workington top. His assistants gave us any decisions. That said we as a club team need to change things. I am not going into details here. I will see you all at Rushall Tuesday let's get a good following and get behind the team.

Re: Workington Updates
I'll go into details. Quite a few of these players are not up to the standard of this division. They give their all but ultimately that is not going to be enough. Squad rotation may be necessary with 2 games every week, but if we're not going to win games we may as well stick with the best 11 until someone NEEDS replacing. Secondly, if we are going to persist with the long ball all game, the only player we have at the club that is quick and clever enough to benefit from that is Ben Haseley. He is not going to be able to though while sat on the bench. We either change the style of play or the personnel. Personally i am tiring of the endless long ball and all the many extra bods there today will probably not return on the back of what they saw. A big missed opportunity. It is a shame because we CAN play good football and our endeavor is unquestionable. I'm still sure we can survive at this level but changes are needed.

Re: Workington Updates
The harbinger of doom returns! Go on, tell us all again what you've done for the club as we didn't hear from you through the success of last season.
There again, we ought to be grateful for that fact.
You really are a total tw@t, aren't you?
