As pre-season games go I thought it was quite an odd game. We used it as an alternative to doing a training session, they treated it like a cup final. At times I thought we sloppy and a little complacent, going through the motions if you like. If Isedyn had scored the penalty we might have won 4 or 5 I think, however the miss lifted them and they found another gear. Their second goal was a great strike as well to be fair.

We did enough in the end I think you'll see our lads come roaring out of the blocks next week. It will be interesting to see who John Hill selects next week as his starting XI, but whoever it is, there will be a hell of a strong bench to back them up!

All in all, a very productive pre-season, I think the lads need a competitive game or two now!
