Have to say for a club the size of Halesowen, your pitch is an absolute disgrace and embarassment to the league. Virtually impossible to play football on which in many ways helped us out as you boys looked to play out from the back and get the ball down but on that surface its impossible.

Given a better surface to play half your league games id fancy you to win the league but i think you'll struggle to win as much at home as what you should.

still an enjoyable day, good food, proper ground not like some in this league just a real shame that the 300 0dd who turn up every week are gunna struggle to see much football whilst the pitch remians in that state

you`re probably not aware but what we`ve been through the last few years under previous owners we`re lucky to have a club at all, let alone a good pitch. now after years of neglect and with a new owner things are getting better, and although scores of volunteers have turned around the state of the ground (it looked worse than the pitch a few months ago!) the pitch is going to take a little longer to get back to what it used to be, but it will get back. credit though to shaun and the team, they are still trying to `play out from the back and get the ball down` when the easy option would have been to revert to `long ball`. bad day at office on monday, but we have seen/will see our team trying to play entertaining football (perhaps like other teams though we might have to learn to `play the referee` as well!)

Unfortunately the rain will not improve the pitch. I know it is due to our unfortunate recent circumstances, but any groundsman will tell you that it requires a lot of work.
