Another major injury setback!
Am I too negative in not being bothered about the Trophy game next Saturday?
Promotion is the be all and end all of this season.
Puts tin hat on and awaits the flak!
Tin hat? The last thing we need right now is being caught up in another Trophy run. We'd started to wobble in the league last season as the Trophy fever took over. Let's throw everything at the League!

We won 5-0 last week, it seems a world away already!

Doesn't count. It's an odd numbered score line.

Not sure what Yates has to do to get a run in the team, he was terrific last season in the trophy run and i thought he would play more of a part this season. Looked at the starting line up today and with Hawker out sammonds would of been a great replacement.

No Tuesday night fixtures until November 3rd. Gives us a chance to regroup.
Anyone know the rough time scale of the injuries?

We do miss Sammonds, given the injury list. But hindsight is wonderful. At the time of his departure, I wasn't too down to see him go. He's a very good player, but when he left us, we weren't in the middle of an injury crisis, and it was difficult to see him get regular game time.

I wouldn't be surprised to see a striker join on a short term loan by Saturday, then. Especially with Cobourne's injury. If that's a hamstring injury, he could be out for a few weeks, too.

I think he may be after a few more after tonight
