I would say yes but only on the basis of numbers. We have some good players signed this Summer but you cannot expect to compete now you allowed 5 subs per game with only 15 'competitive' players on the books.

I genuinely struggle to beleive any manager would choose that, youth team players and a 40 year old coach as subs and think it was tactical genius. So why?

Midfield is worse.

Defense arguably better though I did like Taylor tbf.
