So not penalties. I think most of us are in agreement tbh.
Glad to see that there was an assessor present too

I'll be interested to see them back and hold my hands up if wrong.drummyb wrote: ↑05 Mar 2023, 19:16https://youtu.be/MQImPTTrnHw

Well having watched that again …. Wow … the only question I have is was he just completely incompetent…or was it something more sinister

Completely incompetent. Several really poor decisions through the entire game. Doesnt excuse our poor show first half but even so left us chasing the game.

Re: Hinckley Updates
The 2 "penalties" look even worse on there than they did at the game. I think Gregs expression at the end of the game says it all.

Re: Hinckley Updates
At half time, I thought the ref's performance was a bit of distraction. We weren't at the races at all and didn't create anything.
At full time though, having fought back for a draw, you have to be honest and say these various decisions all combined to cost us the game.

Im not sure it was a distraction. I think we all saw how poor we were. But would we have been 2-0 down? I doubt it. Its irrelevant in all honesty but as you say, it was all part of the whole story.piearce9 wrote: ↑06 Mar 2023, 12:33At half time, I thought the ref's performance was a bit of distraction. To put my comment into perspective for those that weren’t at the game. You have seen the four penalty decisions but not the other numerous infractions by this gem of an official. The reason I question the “more sinister” is that I can’t recall ONE contentious decision against Hinckley … go figure

Re: Hinckley Updates
Ok, watched it. The first pen against Kelly. It definitely deflected off his body onto his arm. He never moved his arm toward the ball and his arm was in a natural position. No penalty.
The second against Morris is more contentious in my opinion. The camera angle does not show the shove that you could see from the opposite side of the ground. So we'll never clear that one up.
The foul on Mills was clear at the time and the video doesn't seem to suggest otherwise. Penalty.
The handball in the second half is quite clear as he moves his arm toward the ball. Penalty.
I'm assuming the linesmen got their 2 offside goals correct so aside from all the other dire decisions, the big game changing calls went against us.
Robbed.
