If a goalkeeper has no-one to push him in training then the goalkeeper becomes 'secure' in the knowledge that he's first choice come match day. I'd have thought that for backup a goalkeeper out of the youth academy would have been a route to go down, in my opinion.
Careful, last time this was brought up we had a We Love Platty Day and it took the now fired staff 3 days to wipe the stains off the walls.

You know, I agree.

i am trying my best to move on but then some people bring him up after the Monday game so I don't care, you all need to drink the medicine.

Anyone think our squad is better than the squad we had this time last year?
Not sure what you hope to achieve here. Its only natural people will make comparisons. Likewise people are saying its worse than under some of his games. Again. 3 games in. Clearly there is a reason we are operating with a smaller squad. I'll make no judgements til mid-October, when we should have found our stride.

You wont ever hear me talk about budgets for players bud. I dont run the club. I still maintain, their is a loan somewhere we are paying off when the Brookes bought the club. But thats speculation based on lack of funds raised.
I'll further add, none of us know why we have such a small squad. However, I genuinely struggle to beleive any manager would choose that, youth team players and a 40 year old coach as subs and think it was tactical genius. So why?

Tbf I dunno if I cared about this forum enough to join you but yes, absolutely agree.

However thats in the past. I only brought him up because of the 'if it was under him we'd have lost on Monday" stuff.

I cant yay or nay that properly, given work commitments have kept me away.
Edited: smaller yes. Cant say til I see it with my own eyes, whether its worse or not. And certainly not after 3 games.
