Chris are you trying to make me feel worse? As if all this isn't bad enough you now remind me cricket is on the horizon. Jeez, not cricket, I'm going for a drink....

Re: Bedworth (H)
Absolutely shocking yet again and given the context of the opponents it made it even worse.
There was a misapprehension from the club and fans alike from day one this season that we had enough decent players. The team was poor to start with and have just got worse which seems barely possible.
As it stands the team would struggle in the league below so at present I don't know where the club goes from here.

Your whole post is correct. In response to this last bit, the rebuild must start in May. I agree that we’re no way guaranteed a swift return and it may take 2-3 seasons in the league below to mount a challenge. That’s the honest truth.
On the positive though, the club appears in good shape otherwise and the crowd today of 502 was incredible given the recent form. For a change, it’s matters on the pitch we need to worry about. Big clearout in the summer required.

In all honesty, as long as we don't lose or score nil every week, I'll accept two or three seasons. I'm not sure that's necessarily the case at this level tbh, but surely to God it's gotta be better than this?

Re: Bedworth (H)
Very poor result today, especially after going a goal up so early..... should have gone on and put them to the sword... by playing football, keeping possession, movement , working little triangles short passing , building moves and crafting openings.. against the worst team in the league??? But it was the same old style , or lack of it, of play .. make it up as we go along..... it is not rocket science. Lee and asa need to adopt a style of play and bring in players that can implement that on the pitch.... because at the moment it is a bit of a mess and some, not all , of the players are just not good enough.... no good having one decent game in every ten... good players do it every game.... maybe with the contacts they have they can get some good young players in... who have the skill levels required and mould them into a footballing side who want to play for the club and have a winning mentality...... here's hoping.....

No, it doesn’t get much worse. How can people say this when the owners have overseen the worst season imaginable and have led the club to a point where Lee Hughes is the manager?

The forum is pointless. Because if Lee Hughes is there nobody will dare ask any of the relevant questions. Another extremely poor decision by the ownersHalesowenHarry wrote: ↑07 Apr 2019, 10:21Look forward to seeing everyone on Thursday
