Re: Tipton Updates
An excellent performance by all today I also think it's important to note that we attracted more people than some FA cup ties in the vicinity! What I'm basically saying is it is excellent that so many people chose to ' Amble" to our game instead of the other game in the vicinity! :]

Andy- I totally agree with you- but the likes of Brendan Kelly, Tom
Tonks, Matt Martin, Kristian Green. Etc have been tremendous this season!
Let's celebrate a great start to the season! We could have named all of them today!!

Wholeheartedly agree. It was just a bit of a wind up. That goal though, if Fernando Rooney or Yaya van Persie had scored it we would be watching it for months to come.Johnny Bud wrote:Andy- I totally agree with you- but the likes of Brendan Kelly, Tom

Re: Tipton Updates
Good performance, put Tipton to bed with the minimum of fuss, some good football played, Christie holds the ball up well and brings people into the game well. Perhaps after he retires he should consider a career as a sparring partner for someone after his nice jab ! The ref saw it so surely he should have been sent off though obviously glad he wasn't, how someone in the crowd can call him a lazy twat is beyond me, yes he is probably short of a yard but his goals per game are impressive and his experience and ability to be in the right place are invaluable. Superb goal from Ben Haseley absolute class ! Good overall team performance, well done lads looking good !

Re: Tipton Updates
Job well done by the boys today. Great to see 400+ in the ground today and hope that some of the extra fans come back again. Ben seems to be on a mission to score a worldie every home game, the 25 yard chip last week was excellent but his second today is probably the best goal I've seen us score in my time watching the team.
As I recently said on another thread, we need the draw to be kind again. Another winnable home tie would be appreciated.

Fantastic performance. Tonks was top drawer and I haven't been one his admirers so far this season. Great to see Ben getting back to his best and to see such a large number down the Grove. I agree with AVFCYeltz that Christie has allowed Ben a lot more freedom. Very much looking forward to the draw and the next round. When is the draw btw?
