Re: Spennymoor Updates
No excuse for not trying. It's hard to watch when individuals just don't care - they have no role to play at the club. And they know who they are.
We go again next week!

Well PKeasey , I'd like to know who you consider were not trying. I just think that many of John Hills' signings were out of their depth. Men against boys again.

Re: Spennymoor Updates
as above - they know who.... 2 games on the bounce, for a least one - including a frustrating 'giving up trying' instead of going in for a tackle - happy if you want to I'm me to discuss further KenR...
Re: Spennymoor Updates
Just got in from a burn up on the Hasbury Farm Estate, sounds like we ran out of fuel
in the second half and the dying embers of our play off push have been dampened dqwn.
However if Mr.Hill has anything about him he will be using the pleasant run up tov the North Yorkshire
coast to rally the troops and Asa Charltons fag breaks to put a bet on promotion next season via a
second party naturallement, either that or burning his bridges!

Re: Spennymoor Updates
Have to admit I wasn't there Tuesday due to work, I wasn't there today as I had a choice , prepare my motorbike for M.O.T or pay £10 to watch awful football in a very toxic atmosphere, needless to say my bike is ready for M.O.T.
IMHO HTFC has changed beyond recognition in the past 2 years, the unity amongst fans has gone, there appears to be division that has been deliberately created for reasons only known to those that have created it, it has gone as far as certain individuals being threatened just for voicing an opinion, the crowds are dropping, the pitch is a disgrace ,relegation is a real possibility , serious FA charges hang over us like a cloud but we are told everything in the garden is rosy, I really can't be arsed any more.

Re: Spennymoor Updates
I don't think it is Halesowen Town anymore. For all I know JH might be a great bloke, but we aren't debating that here, it's about the football and what we are paying to go and see. The fact is, the results and the football are terrible. People can't say how dare you criticise, get behind the team etc. If you don't like something, what are you supposed to do? You can't just 'make some noise and get behind the boys'. We are already getting behind the team by paying for something we don't like watching in the first place. Aside from all the swearing, the most disgusting thing people say is 'if you don't like it go somewhere else'. I've seen a player say that to a fan, and I've seen various fans also say it. What gives them the right to say that? Are they actually trying to deliberately kill the club off once and for all and only have 7 or 8 fans left? Fans are allowed to disagree with what they are seeing.
I think JH, from listening to his interviews gets that criticism is part of the job, but if you don't like it, don't do the job. Unfortunately it's inevitable, it's part of being a manager. Halesowen Town is bigger than any given manager, or at least it always should be, and we as fans deserve that to always be the case.

Re: Spennymoor Updates
Yesterday was pretty bizarre to be honest.
After 15 years or so of hardly missing a home game, yesterday was painful. Not so much what happened on the pitch but off it. Stood behind the goal in the first half most of the conversation related to who wasn't there. I think it's the first time I've been at a home game and not been able to chat to Zee Zee, Scouse or one of the Kevs.
Loyal fans have been lost or are being lost and that is truly sad!
Then on to the forum. This is read by fans, fans of other clubs and players! I've never really criticised anyone on here personally but the 'dig' about Asa having a fag break is ridiculous and out of order. He has been one of, if not the, best player over the last few years, and looking at the games he's played again this season his level of fitness is unquestionable.
Whatever people think of the volunteers, other fans or management to criticise players who give 100% is not on. I genuinely think the likes of Asa, Jay and Brags who have stuck with the club are exempt from criticism (even if I wouldn't play Brags wide
) I honestly can only see the situation getting worse and these are the players we need to keep- not alienate!
Anyway, I think it's time for a Yeltz Yoof reunion and fancy dress theme for the last away game- a bit of fun and frivolity is needed!
That's my view anyway- see you all next Saturday as I can't make Whitby due to work!

Re: Spennymoor Updates
It appears that the positivity from Tuesday night has been dissipated by yesterdays result. The ray of hope is beyond the horizon.Relegations
loom large and the grim reality has dawned.Successes of the past are distant. We are as good as our last game which is bloody awful. The days
of Morell M**s*n at least demanded a response. We must pull together as a Club(owner, management team, players and most importantly supporters!)
So now back to the drivel kenr.

JB, first of all, totally respect your views on the Yeltz and I know you are one who genuinely cares about the club. I totally agree on your point about the fans who don't go.Johnny Bud wrote: ↑12 Mar 2017, 07:57

Saying that, I don't agree about the players. Is it acceptable for example that players are out, smoking and drinking after a defeat at home when we have a huge game coming up on Tuesday? Especially when we are in a relegation scrap. It's not great is it. To me it's an insult to all those people who pay to go and watch them and shows the attitude isn't right. We've been through all the fitness stuff before, but if they are doing that they aren't as fit as they could be are they......
