We've played the correct system and the correct players. We've played well. We've won. There's very little else to say.

More of the same, please.

Yep, ditto from me.
And Doc I've already prepared a plinth for the Matt Birley statue. ;D

Assuming and it is a big assumption that all of tonight's players and subs are permitted to turn out for us on Saturday in the Trophy JH has some interesting choices to make.

From the Tamworth Herald http://www.tamworthherald.co.uk/tamwort ... story.html four changes from Tamworth's previous starting 11 and two of those rested players came on a subs, so we were not playing a radically 'weakened' opponent who of course do play a league higher than us.

Well im happy. Cant stand Tamworth. Festers back to the 80's when we had a fair bit of rivalry. Good to see two wins on the bounce. Can only bring confidence.

They're 11th too.

As I've maintained all season, this squad is capable of good performances where we look creative together with good results. Now we're proving it.

Good performance last night against a side a league above us. As mentioned it was hardly a 'reserve' Tamworth side either so even more pleasing to get the win.

Also nice to see some of the players who haven't featured as regularly come in and give the manager a bit of a selection headache. I thought new bloke Burley did well on his debut and took his goal well, might be lacking a bit of match fitness but sure that will come in time.

Sure it might be seen as a bit of a meaningless competition but to spout the old cliche 'winning breeds confidence' which is so true. It would be nice to have a cup run regardless of which competition so if we're in it, we might as well try to have a go!

See you at Rushall on Saturday!

Last nights win was John Hill's 100th as Yeltz manager. 216 games in charge now.

Birley looks a good player. Have we signed him or loaned him? It really is good to see this 2 up top, midfielders getting forward quicker formation. I feel we can beat anybody this way because we do have the players capable of doing it.
