Better performance first half last night, especially the first half. Our heads seem to drop after we conceded again which is a slight worry. We just need to carry that fight from the first half into the second.

Winsper looks much better in the centre of defence instead of midfield.

Three best players went off last night, can only assume they ha niggling injuries last night? Smith looks very good in the middle of the park and Gueyes was on his best wing which was good to see.

Roll on Saturday and Worksop....

I think he was flagging for a foul to Leek, but the ref. played advantage. :-\
The typical game of two halves - why we panic when we are two goals up, beats me.
A good passing game in the first 45 then the old favourite, "long ball for Ben," in the second half. Why??

Sorry I missed last night - work commitments like some of the team. Surely we haven't run out of sauce quips?
Haven't seen anyone suggest that we are ' not cutting the mustard', 'Mayo nly get better' or might be 'tartare for now'.
Sounds like we need to get fitter and faster and to be critical, signing apparently already injured players doesn't seem to be making sense.

Purely coincidentally, for the first time in 6 months, my wife made me a bacon, sausage & egg sarnie with leeks on it yesterday morning.

No mayo though ;D

Meanwhile, back at the game - it was good to see Neil Barnfield back, he makes so much difference to the midfield.
The rumour that he was having to have an op., and would be out until Christmas would appear to be incorrect. I do hope so!

You certainly do! Much better last night and I was relieved to see some of the better players we have were back in again. Saturdays failures did not even make the bench. Gone? Shame we resorted to panic mode again, but we held on and hopefully it will give us a bit more confidence for the Worksop game.
