Re: Sutton Updates
Yes 1-1 against a team at the wrong end of the table - disappointing result.

Re: Sutton Updates
A squad of players brimming with many who are playing a level below where they would be more than comfortable being set up in a way I struggle to fathom, what was the plan today?
Our approach was mind boggling, especially late on when we went full Sunday league and just chucked everyone up front.
Not good enough on the touchline, the playing budget is massive but we’ve scrimped on the most important part imo - the management.

Very disappointing result.
Where were Morris and Insall today? we'vr not played for 2 weeks so surprised if injured

Re: Sutton Updates
Difficult to know what to make of that one. Had we put away our first half chances it would have been a stroll, had Sutton capitalised on a couple of gilt edge chances in the second we would have lost. We have to find that elusive player that everybody wants, a finisher. Some of the balls Donnelly was putting in were just begging to be finished off. One big positive though is Sammo's return, in my opinion the best player on the park. Still much improvement needed though if we think we are going to win this league.

Re: Sutton Updates
I think Sutton are becoming a bogie team. As Andy said, we should have had a couple first half and typically they come out and score at the start of the second. I think the subs changed the game and let them back in it a bit. We looked a complety different team that lost 2-0 there a few months back and had most of the possession, but as is football, one change can change a game. It would have been a travesty to lose, but we never seem to go there and come away with much.

Re: Sutton Updates
I did wonder how long it would take before someone was calling for the mangers’ heads as they weren’t good enough to take the step up.

Re: Sutton Updates
Agreed that it’s always a risk, as was discussed at the time, but it was as good a punt as any when the decision was made.
