Re: Stafford Updates
Stafford took the lead with a wonderfully taken free kick. We then equalised with our second and final attempt at goal of the match.
We allegedly gifted them the second with a mix up between Platt and Asa (I missed the goal!). The third was well taken, but you felt it was game over by then.
In truth we never looked like winning, and given our recent run and vastly improved performances since switching to 442, tonight was disappointing.
We looked tired and second best tonight, it's interesting to note that Stafford haven't played a mid week game since early October. Perhaps a reason as to why we looked tired (but not an excuse).
We're capable of much better, I'm sure the players and management will be the first to tell you that. I'm sure this is a blip. Roll on Saturday.
