Re: The 13th Duke of Wimborne
I feel most sorry for LLL and Scouse amongst others who travelled. That's one mother of a journey home after being 4-0 up with less than half hour to go and to lose 5-4. Against a poor side till we went down to ten men. Not sure who you blame here other than saying it's one of those days..............

Re: The 13th Duke of Wimborne
4 wins 2 draws and 2 losses isn't really a time to panic. I'd say a tweak or two more we should be ok. With 11 men today i'd imagine we'd have seen it out fine. Tactics went to pot I'd have thought. I'll put it all right next Saturday.............

Re: The 13th Duke of Wimborne
To concede 5 to any team when 4 up is shocking enough,
let alone to a team who had failed to score in their last 4 games and
who had shippied 15 goals in the process.

Re: The 13th Duke of Wimborne
I'm sure that L3 will have the info, but off the top of my head I can't remember anything like this before.
I can recall a 3-3 at The Grove against Atherstone in the late 80s when we were 3-0 up (I think) and a 3-3 against Barry, again at home, including a Paul Hunter overhead kick if memory serves, but I don't think that we were 3-0 up in that one.
Other than that I can't remember a Devon Loch on this scale.
Anyone?

Nope, me neither. We were 4-1 up against Folkstone at home in 2000, that ended 4-4. Gloucesters collapse at our place brings back happier memories.YeltzDoc wrote:I'm sure that L3 will have the info, but off the top of my head I can't remember anything like this before.
