Re: Leek Updates
What a result great team performance! Glad to see Haseley score and he was exceptional! Kristian Green fully deserved that man of the match award he worked his socks off and commanded that wing, held the ball up and terrorised the Leek full back a few times too. Christie was unlucky not to score himself had a few good chances.
The combination of Turner and Griffiths working together on the wing really worked and we seemed very strong on their flank, especially with Haseley feeding off the pair a few times too. Tonks had a very good game as well worked hard and created a few chances, put in a few good crosses and also had a great shot which looked destined for the back of the net, but Haseley was there to net the winner!
Also Forde looked very promising he looks like he's not afraid of taking players on. Hull and Charlton were superb at the back, especially Hull who was like a rock defending that Leek goal. The same for Tilt who covered the back line well and supplied a few good passes too. And for once I'm going to give Sergeant some credit, he really kept us in the game today, he finally made me take back my criticism of him!
Also fantastic support, what an atmosphere it was in the shed I've never known an atmosphere as good as that at The Grove loved it! The Leek fans were a good bunch a lot of banter in the shed and a bit of light-hearted p**s taking such as "white Dee is your Mom" and "Jimmy Saville is a leek" but overall we sang the better songs
I know the atmosphere was fuelled by the 'inbreds' (as some of us Shed army called them) but that would be brilliant if we had atmosphere similar to that at most of our home games! Just a thought...
Anyway; fantastic result, fantastic atmosphere, fantastic day! See you all next Saturday again

Re: Leek Updates
Brought a mate today and he loved it. Hopefully get him back.
I shall again praise Seargent, wgo pulled off at least two good saves today.
Tbh as much as their fans annoyed me, you need two sets of fans to create such an atmosphere. We can't do it on our own
