Well from the gloom of a defeat, we at least have the mirth of some cock_offery.
I went to the Grove once and there was only me there.
Mind you that was a Thursday night with no match on.

St Leonards was another Thursday epic away journey. It arrived as the last of 3 away matches. Only 264 there in total so there couldn't have been many travelling from here.
Not a bad line-up:

I do vaguely remember there being quite a few of us as it was a new ground for us. Not sure we ever went there again either

Distinctly remember Pierce chasing down an impossible ball and pulled it back from the byline before dancing through the defenders and slotting home, … also I recall it was bloody cold

Yeah I thought that too. Unfortunately the increase in crowds results in an increase of arseholes.
They've made the long journey up in vile weather, supported their team with no nastiness, and get abused and mocked because there are only a few of them. People with longer memories will remember US taking 11 to Crawley, 15 to Gretna and 20 odd to Dover, I could go on. It wasn't always this good you know.

Ah yes. Midweek Gretna. 5 of the 15 of us somehow managed to fit into my Mom's 950cc Ford Fiesta. I seem to recall someone else got the train there, maybe?? But can't quite remember who. Anyone?
