Andy,
When eggs come into play they are a complimentary factor rather that an complicating factor (what statisticians call a disturbance term, I believe) in that they add to or enhance the overall effect rather than influencing the ultimate outcome

Therefore the existence or otherwise of an egg in the sandwich equation need not have a significant effect on condiment considerations, the condiment outcome stands or falls on the primary sandwich ingredient and your chosen dressing. I understand that is known as Ovum's Law

What is all this nonsense about red or brown sauce?
Surely all Yeltz fans should have blue sauce. On everything !

First of all on behalf of those who came from Rainworth yesterday may I thank Halesowen Town for your excellent hospitality, the friendly welcome we received, and the sporting commentsof your fans and officials after the match. I must admit we were on a bit of a high, because we arrived having no away points on the board at all and only one away league goal scored.
But I can tell you we have played better than that and lost, and we have played poorer sides than Halesowen and lost. You are by no means the worst team we have played, but let's be honest, your otherwise decent performance was marred by one or two individual howlers which effectively gifted us the win.
And you had some bad luck at times too like when your guy was through on goal and the ref called play back for a head injury to one of your players. Shame your lad's 'words of advice' to the referee were not expressed in milder terms though, the ref had no option, especially since it happened right under the assessor's nose and would probably have been heard in Stourbr*dge, silly lad! But when you got a goal back straight after and almost scored a second in the 89th we were sweating a bit that we were going to blow it.
I'm on the outside looking in, but I would say give your new manager a chance. He's new, some of your players are new, you had a few missing. You haven't become a bad side overnight, it's a blip and you will come out of it.
Your NLP reporter gave the match 4 out of 5 for entertainment so it wasn't that bad, and for anyone but a home supporter that was about right.
We at Rainworth still have to pinch ourselves to make sure our little village team really is rubbing shoulders with massive clubs like our last three opponents - Northwich, Lynn and Yeltz.
We enjoyed our visit, the welcome we received meant we would have enjoyed it what ever the result. Good luck for the rest of the season (except of course...) and we assure you of a warm welcome to Nottinghamshire when you visit for the return.

Best regards
Gordon
The only positive from Saturday I'm afraid, thank you for taking the time to post that Gordon, you're always welcome on the forum and indeed at Halesowen.

I myself am miffed; with due respect, I didn't think Rainworth were brilliant, and to be beaten 1-3 at home... I thought I was angry when we lost to Dudley Town in the FA Cup but this takes the biscuit.

I know John Hill needs time and I've been assured that he's got some very good ideas to push the club in a positive direction, but he's just not doing it for me and I agree with Carlin's post about him being out of his depth and bringing in new players at Tipton Town level.
Probably nice chap and all that and we've had a few injuries but I give him to Xmas.

For the 200-odd people who went on Saturday (a game I was looking forward to for ages after a rubbish week at work) I defy one of them to give me any positives about the way Halesowen Town played. I'm insulted that I had to pay £8 to watch rubbish like that.

And not once did I see John Hill out of the dugout.

I would like someone to debate the point for me but the (un)mighty Yeltz were piss-poor on Saturday, no excuses. I know we've played Leek since then (drawing after going 2-0 up) but I'm still fuming after the RMW game.

And as for the mayo subject, I'll name names... it was that fat git Stu who wears the baseball cap who started it and truth be told was the only decent thing to shout about on the terraces that day :P
