Re: Kiddy Friendly
First visit to the Yeltz in a while,am back in circulation after nursing my Mom 'til her death:can't get to the Yeltz as often as I would like.
Felt there was a positive vibe to tonights game, maybe because entrance was free and people felt loath to moan. The first half had the feel of a training game and other than a great effort by the black kid up front for the Yeltz, little memorable.
The Yeltz were caught dozing at the start of the second,Kiddy were late out from the dressing rooms came out all together and not in dribs and drabs like Yeltz and caught us cold. The clean strike from Kiddy's 7 was too good forthe Halesowen Keeper to put Harriers 2-0 up.The Kidderminster subs made
a difference and they dominated territorially.
The air of detumiscence which pervaded the Yeltz after conceding the second did not lift til the last ten minutes when in a flurry of activity the crossbar was hit at both ends; Lewis came close with a header from a corner and Dunkley was played through for a one on one with the keeper which he converted
to give the result a skewed look.
I enjoyed the second half particularly and hope to return at the weekend, att: 300 approx MOTM Bradley Lewis.
