Tonights Matches

Post by yeltz85 » 05 Feb 2013, 20:50

Chasetown v Romulus
Coalville Town v Sheffield
Gresley v Leek Town
King's Lynn Town v Lincoln United

Interesting matches, especially Gresley vs Leek Town. Leek have a lot of games in hand and can easily catch us and Gresley could go above us before our clash the weekend.

Wonder if Lincoln will get a result against King's Lynn?

Ever since the turn in our form ive been looking at the fixtures/ play off places a lot more.

Well King's Lynn are losing 1-0 and Gresley are 1-1.

Decent results for us at the moment.

Agreed. If we can catch anyone in the playoffs it looks like Sutton.

Just need to keep the pressure on. Starting Saturday.

Would be a shame to waste the hard work from the last four games.

Well, Haseley's due another hat-trick on Saturday. It's his longest spell this year without one ;)

And the adjustment of the league tables for the demise of Hucknal comes ever closer .... just seen this on the league web site from last night :(

NOTTINGHAMSHIRE SENIOR CUP 12-13 - THIRD ROUND
Carlton Town P P Hucknall Town
(Due to Hucknall T having insufficient registered players.)

Not good at all! I hope they can make it until the end of the season.

I see Romulus are hovering just above them in the league with a big budget, remember them saying at the start of the season they would be challenging for promotion?

Would prefer Hucknall to survive, purely from an attendance point of view and Roms not having their own ground.

and a new ground to go to.....I've had an attempt to tot up all the away grounds I've visited for Yeltz matches and Hucknall at the end of this season could be my 200th.

Quite some stat Chas. ;)

If Hucknall were to leave the league this season and results were expunged we would move up one place in the league table as it stands at the moment.

This would be the table afterwards,
1 Coalville Town - Played 23 Points 59 (-6 Points)
2 Stamford Played - Played 24 Points 50 (-1 Point)
3 Sutton Coldfield Town - Played 28 Points 47 (-3 Points)
4 Kings Lynn Town - Played 21 Points 44 (-3 Points)
5 Belper Town - Played 24 Points 41 (-3 Points)
6 Halesowen Town - Played 25 Points 37 (-3 Points) - Move up 1 place
7 Gresley FC - Played 26 Points 37 (-3 Points) - Move up 1 place
8 Brigg Town - Played 24 Points 36 (-6 Points) - Move down 2 places
9 Carlton Town - Played 25 Points 35 (-3 Points)
10 Leek Town - Played 22 Points 33 (-3 Points)
