Pitchero websites

Post by yeltz85 » 28 Jan 2013, 17:42

What's everyone's view on them? I notice they are starting to dominate non league nowadays.

I for one don't like them and like the originality of proper infependent websites.

I believe they also charge if you want added features etc.

Agreed! I don't like them either, they seem to make clubs lose their individual identities by all looking the same.

I completely agree, even the quality- in my opinion- is just as bad. Our website is great I think, but I've browsed some of our opposition's website (owned by the infamous Pitchero) and they are just poor on so many levels. Its only good for league websites, nothing else.

Have to agree, its superb for league etc as it must be easy for them to organise. I just dont like the way all the websites are the same.

I wonder what will happen on the day they sign a deal with non league clubs to make them compulsory? >:(

Yes they are rather boring and my pet hate about websites often out of date information.

Talking of out of date wonder if Halesowen News have realised we are in a different league yet?

The only thing i like about them is the Pitchero App, for these new fangled smart phones! Halesowen Ladies and Colts are on there!

I agree an independent website is much better for the content.......what about a yeltz app???????

Nope, have e-mailed several people but to no avail! Next stop I need to call them.

I notice the Stourbr*dge one is nicely up to date.
