Re: Attendances table
Shocking, but thats just how it is these days i guess. 20 years ago we would have been in the top 25 with all the Conference teams. Strange we seem to be level with a team i've never heard of who seem to have only played ONE game.

Re: Attendances table
Taken in context.
If you strip out the table to step 5 leagues only, which consist of 132 clubs we are 22nd !!

Re: Attendances table
Quite a few teams have a one off out of context attendance against either FCUM or Chester also. One team that caught my eye in the list was Guernsey, i never knew they had a team. They play in the Combined Counties League. Every awayday must be a nightmare and they have a massive fixture backlog. Bad weather isn't just a problem pitchwise for them but for flights also. They are still in 2 cups as well. Crowds of around a thousand must make it all worthwhile though. http://www.guernseyfc.com/

Re: Attendances table
I've been watching Guernsey closely.
10 of their last 13 games have been postponed meaning they have only played 3 games since the start of December !!!! And winter is only just starting !!!
They haven't got a mid week game this week, and they are in the Vase next Saturday, so even if they get knocked out they will have 27 games to play in 13 weeks !!!

Must be a nightmare! Haha. I have watched them since their formation a while back. They subsidise away travel to Guernsey for away teams. I wish them well as I would love for Halesowen to play their one day...old git wrote:I've been watching Guernsey closely.

We have moved up to 165th now too! :-) Onwards and upwards! Haha.
I do however find the King's Lynn Town fan site more reliable... http://www.thelinnets.co.uk/turnstile.php?s=2011
We are 138th on there, lower leagues excluded.
I do think our average will increase towards the end of the season with potential push for play offs, also Gresley, Belper and Kings Lynn to visit The Grove. Gresley and King's Lynn are the top two attendances in our league.

Re: Attendances table
That attendance league table is a shamble, just looked at it closer, Haughmond (the team above us) average consists of two games. One of them was against Hanwood which was at home, if you see a picture of the match report the reported crowd was 300! I can see just three people on the terrace from the one picture.andy wrote:Shocking, but thats just how it is these days i guess. 20 years ago we would have been in the top 25 with all the Conference teams. Re: Attendances table
Just doing some comparisions to attendance levels in our league, most have dropped by a significant amount in ours compared to last season... Ours not so bad, hopefully it will improve towards the end of the season with King's Lynn, Gresley etc and warmer weather. Few massive drops in there though if you look at Chasetown, Mickleover and Northwich (Obviously).
