67 views and no reply? Does no one remember Neil Moore?
A fine, classy footballer at full back or even in midfield and a nice bloke to boot.
One of his finest games for us was in the FA Cup at Roots Hall, after which the Southend manager, the legendary David Webb, wanted to sign him! Happy memories, precious times.
God bless you Neil.

Ditto. RIP Neil. For some reason i remember him more as a centre half though.
Westy, you have to remember that only us oldies are going to have seen him play, its a quarter of a century ago now!

Re: Neil Moore
Part of a great defence - Caldicott, Moore, Sherwood, Lacey and Randle. They had everything and everyone covered.
I was a impressionable young lad during the 80's and watched nearly every game home and away during Neil Moore's time and would like to simply say thanks to Neil Moore for being part of such a great team and the great memories his efforts have left behind.
