Potentially a good appointment. Knows a lot about local non league players.

Good luck John, if you can get your namesake onside you've done half the job :-)

You'll enjoy reading this forum, its comedy at its finest. Most of the time......

Welcome to The Grove John.

Plenty of experience at Tipton Town had a good few cups runs.

Presume he knows the non league scene very well.

Enjoy reading the forum as HH says and I'm sure everyone will introduce themselves in good time.

This seems a positive appointment. He's been successful at Tipton. Hopefully continues that with us. All the best John!

John Hill joined Tipton April 2001.
2003/4 West Midlands League runners-up
2004/5 West Midlands League & League Cup winners
4 out of 5 seasons finished in top 6 of Midland Alliance, including runners-up with 100 points to Coalville.
2010/11 reached Fa Cup Round 1, run ended at Carlisle. John completed 500 games in charges in earlier round tie against Sheffield.

Good luck at and welcome to The Grove, John.

He had a lot of backing in the 100points season too financially, from a guy who then ended up in prison if I remember rightly. Back him & he'll deliver but this is going to be a hard league to get out of for anybody with a lot of good sides so it might take time.
