The Sound of Silence!

As I sat outside today, on a pleasant Halesowen morning, partaking of my croissants and coffee, my thoughts turned to matters Yeltz. I thought how strange it is that the usual suspects who were so vociferous in their rightful condemnation of the hated previous owners remain silent.
The “new look” Yeltz appear, at long last, to have a future in local football, but the silence from those that wanted a clear out and an honest, local, owner is truly deafening.
Of course, they may all be on long sabbaticals, touring the nation, putting other clubs to rights – or, more likely, they are grinding their teeth waiting for the slightest whiff of scandal to float on the air before they position themselves at their keyboards to launch into critical mode.

If their past criticisms were to show how much the club meant to them, then surely they would now be making it clear that they see “ A Bright Golden Haze” over The Grove as new enthusiasm grips the supporters.

I am not proposing that we re-introduce “The Happy Clappy Club,” but a little enthusiasm from those who were consistently adamant that a change of ownership was essential to return HTFC to its former respected status, would not go amiss.

I do state all this with a lot of tongue in cheek – now that I’ve finished the croissants! ;D ;D

All the Rubbish you posted criticising people who raised concerns about the way the club were going people like Mr Bobble and others and you giving them a load of stick when in the end they were proved right and you got it totally wrong. At the forum i was impressed by My Lynch and the current mananger but im sure once the season starts if things are not going right on the pitch or off it people these same people may raise concerns but i reckon the only way is up for the club at the moment things couldnt get any worst,we are at a great level to build the club up again and lets hope theres success for the future for all.

On second thoughts - unzipped.
Yes, I freely admit that I have been proven totally wrong in suggesting that the Ingrams, when they took over the club, be given a chance to show that their plans were genuine.
The fact that there has been no sign of even a cautious welcome, from certain quarters, to a change of ownership still seems, to me, odd.
