How many of this team would get in that team?

OK, so strictly speaking this has been our best finish since 2007/08. Yes, step 3 is bigger now, so the quality is diluted, and I know we cheated back then, but I was wondering who of the team that lost to Telford would get into the team that lost to Team Bath in the final in 2008?
As a reminder, it was Osborn, Cowley, Hamilton, Pearce, Pierpoint, Denny, Hall, Caskey, Brennan, Maquemba, Anya.
Mitchell for Hamilton, probably. Maybe Platt for Osborn, and I reckon the current centre halfs might shade it, but after that I'm struggling. Tee or Smile for Denny, maybe? KD is brilliant but I'm not sure he gets in ahead of Brennan or Maquemba.

Mitchell and Platt, yes. For one C/H or the other I would have to play Wynter. The few others you mentioned would be there or there abouts, but would be hard pressed to oust players from 2008.

An interesting and good question. My team would show a few changes. Osborne for Platt , just. I cannot remember Hamilton so Mitchell in for him . The outstanding Winter in for Pierpoint, Hall a bit of an enigma, either brilliant or anonynous so Smile in for him . Brennan a proper centre forward (take note Penn) is a must , Caskey a certain starter and finally perhaps Donnelly for Anya.
