Shamblecoat IS falling down.
Sad to hear it looks very dicey for the lot down the road. There by the grace of god etc. no floodlights is terminal for winter games and would lye be allowed to host in short medium term at this level or will be see them lot drop down a few leagues to keep going? Never good to see grassroots and non league clubs die off. Maybe they could get their star development player Jude “definitely key Stourbr*dge player” Bellingham to cough up a few weeks wages to sort this out.

On one hand I'm loathe to laugh at this situation because the fixture is a crucial money maker at the Grove.
On the other hand, we'll be in a different league next season after Penn leads us to promotion, so that makes the first point moot

Re: Shamblecoat IS falling down.
Let's be honest, it's been unfit for purpose for as long as I can remember. No improvement has ever been made despite the fairly regular FA Cup runs bringing in a shed load of money, and blame always seems to lie 'somewhere else'. I fear for the fans that it may be another Dudley Town scenario, maybe they can both argue over The Dell as a venue. Would I miss the Derby? No, not really, it just seems more trouble than it's worth. I think I'd rather play Tamworth.....

No sympathy from me.
If we were in trouble they'd be pissing themselves laughing.
Their problems should have been addressed long ago.
"C'est la vie," I'm afraid.

Taking the fact I dont like a small minority of their fan base, or the hangers on that thought it funny when we had our issues,( Distinctly remember one bell end bragging, he hadnt heard of any of the teams in the league below) I wouldnt wish it on any club tbh. Theyve been well and truly shafted by the builders and the Council are doing what the Council do, which is bureauracy. It is an awful ground to watch football however, and IF they can find something, god knows where, it could be better for them. That said its a lot of money.
Awful situation.

Sod'em.
Outside of the 4-6 guaranteed points per season (which might not be possible next year anyway) I wouldn't miss them. The #9 has got a bitter taste these days and they enjoyed putting the boot in when we were relegated.

Good to see the non league spirit alive and well on here and the rest of the socials.

Crap ground which they have got away with supposedly being a step 3 facility for years whilst others have to invest in their grounds to make them the correct standard. Only 3 sides and crap view from them all. Stourbr*dge have ignored their crumbling ground for years instead choosing to invest in the team instead whilst others have had to try and invest in both.
Time has finally caught up with them, you reap what you sow. Sorry
