Leiston away fixture

As mentioned elsewhere on this forum, a few of the teams have re-arranged to Good Friday from the Saturday (19th April) and one of these is Telford....... given Leiston will have a long (they all are) journey on Bank Holiday Monday, you'd think it was in both our and their interest to move it forward? It's not like it will affect the gate as I'm sure the same amount of fans will turn up either day............. feel free to shoot me down with any reason we're not doing this or trying to

Changing the day makes sense for us, but Leiston are away to Lowestoft on the Monday, so not sure they would be as bothered about moving it as we might be? They don't need to be doing us any favours as they're pushing for the play-offs themselves.

Lowestoft are also playing on the Friday (against Telford
) so they'll also have 24 hours more recovery, so I don't agree!!!! It most definitely would be in Leiston's interest also to move it forward. Whether they're doing us a favour or not, they'll be doing themselves one!

I can see you've given this some thought!!! I'm sure both clubs have as well though and there must be a reason? Player availability on the Friday maybe?
