Easter Fixtures

Post by Simons » 27 Feb 2025, 17:25

I notice Telford have moved their match on Easter Saturday at home to Lowestoft, to Good Friday along with a few others, giving them the extra days rest while we are traveling to Leiston and back on Saturday, maybe giving them an advantage for what could be a title decider on Easter Monday

Unless all matches are moved it shouldn't be allowed imo.
2 very tough games for us as well.

Agreed it shouldn’t be allowed but you have to doff your cap to them that this is a smart move. No chance of our fixture being moved as it’s away etc. Certainly though something for the club to remember for future seasons.

More importantly, it's something for the League to remember in the future!

It's not a new rule and it's nothing underhand. All clubs have this option if both agree. Last season there were two games on Good Friday.
