Stourbr*dge tickets.

I consider myself to be reasonably intelligent. However, I fail to understand why a season ticket holder has to attend the ground to exchange one ticket for another.

From a selfish point of view, it's a ten min walk down to the ground and a good excuse to nip into the Eddy for a couple of pints - so I don't see the issue. I do, however, understand why people, who live further afield, may be annoyed.

I guess the club have taken this approach to really keep tabs on the attendance - it's all too easy for people to use multiple matchday stubs for this match so their friends get in for free. I don't have any problems with exchanging my ST stub for a match ticket. I can understand the approach here.

My only question for the club is; couldn't this have been done last Saturday v Bishop's Finger, or next Saturday v Alvechurch, to save a journey for season ticket holders?

Again, we're caught between a rock and hard place with tickets, and the club can't do right for doing wrong! All this nonsense because a few kids can't behave themselves.

Can't see anything on the official site so I take it this is on Facebook? I don't have a Facebook account and never been on there so could one of you kind gents give me the details? I'm not a season ticket holder also.

I have contacted Keith McKenna who he has clarified the situation.
Season ticket holders only need to present themselves at The Grove IF THEY WISH TO PURCHASE EXTRA TICKETS!

I am not on Facebook either but I can see the last few posts. It is on there. I can't find this information anywhere else though. ???
Reading through it it seemed that season ticket holders would get first dibs on what I imagined would be 'extra' tickets, but after reading on it definitely states that season ticket will have to be exchanged for game ticket. I am suspecting somebody has got this wrong in the wording, maybe it could be clarified.

Well, this all makes my post bloody redundant! (Yes, you can argue my posts are always redundant, before any smarty pants chimes in! ;D )

I cannot see any posts on facebook so where did this information come from. Cannot find anything on the official website, but again , communication has been sadly lacking since Dave Hawley left us.

well 5 minutes after i posted above the information came through on my facebook page. I quote Monday 10th Feb "season ticket holders and voucher holders can purchase two tickets each etc, etc"! What a load of gobbledegook. Season ticket holders have already paid for their ticket. Its a league match not a cup tie.

Bloody hell! Why does it have to be so complicated.
Just state that season ticket holders turn up at the Hawne Lane turnstile as normal.
Jesus!
This complicated word salad isn't needed.
Season ticket holders bought their tickets to enable entry on LEAGUE match days.
Fuck me, this wouldn't happen for any Premier League local derby.
There'll be ructions if me and the other denizens of The Eddy are refused entry on the 22nd.
