If you can't make it to Cornwall (*nods to piearce9*) then our friends down the road have asked for your support.
As said elsewhere, loads of great pubs within a casual wobble and surely better than heading up the the Thorns Road from there to the Temple of Mamom with the missus.

The Lye.jpg

Which made me think of the old nursery rhyme / riddle.
Surely due an update, with apologies to Trad Arr. and thanks to Robin Blue Wig whose legacy game me the idea.

As I was going to St. Ives,
I met a man from down The Lye,
The Lye has seven balti houses,
With seven ‘roaches, rats and mouses,
With seven fleas on each to bite ’em,
And on and on ad infinitum,
So many multi-level lives
How many were going to St Ives?

In my defence, I've not been sleeping well.

St Ives are in great form at the moment having also beaten Leiston 5 0 & Kettering 6 0 in recent games.

And another 3 against Needham Market. They really are flying. Yet still only mid table after winning 5 of the last 6, scoring 24 goals. One game was against now defunct Nuneaton though.
