How many times have they done this ? Hearing they are £650,000 in debt and still reportedly paying Lita £900 a week 😳

Was reading Robbie Savage’s newspaper column yesterday in anticipation of the weekend’s game. He was saying it costs 2.4 million a year to run Macclesfield.

Maybe that's why they charge £17 for a league game! :o

If we presume that their demographic will be similar to ours, and considering their inflated prices I reckon that’s just under £14 a head, before VAT, so net about £11.50. Average gate around 3000, 21 league games and that gives you about £724,000. Add on, say 100,000 for cup games income. If they let out their bouncy bouncy plastic pitch the could be another £100,000. Commercial income, say £200,000.

Probably being generous with those figures as well, so one hell of a hole to fill from someone’s pocket 😳

Going back to Nuneaton, does anyone know where (or indeed if) we will be playing them next Tuesday? Their last league game was switched to Hinckley VERY late on and they played their Trophy game at Hyde on Saturday despite being drawn at home.

Not sure if other teams would be happy who have had to play them as an away game.
