The Lye for the Birmingham Senior Cup 2nd Round, to be played before 25th November 2023. And to think, at 4.50pm on 29th April 2023 we were dreaming of Boxing Day away there in the league...........

I can't lie (or should that be Lye) - that is all I was thinking at this precise moment in time. They were stuffing St Neots at their place, we weren't looking like scoring at all, and all I kept visualising was being stood on that grass bank at Lye in the pouring rain on Boxing Day. I must have been hyperventilating so loudly that it distracted the Spalding goalkeeper.
With that in mind, it'll be nice to go back in a "look what you could have won" capacity.
