Zee Zee & I (and hopefully a few others), armed with stiff brushes, forks & Shovels, will be at the ground no later than 08.00 tomorrow.

At the moment we have no idea what we will find, and what, if anything, we can do to get the game on, but we'll be there, and see what happens

Hi, Groundsman here. Overnight temperature goes down to -5. According to bbc weather, temperature at 9am (Time of inspection) will be -4, so pitch will be frozen

Does this mean that the will be a pre inspection inspection at 7 to determine whether a party is needed at 8 prior to the 9 o'clock inspection ?

If the forecast is right, and it goes down to minus 5, then no stiff brushes or forks will help regarding the pitch. It still had a covering of snow when i went this evening as well.

There is always a chance the forecast will be wrong, if we are there and prepared, we MAY stand a chance (however small), if we leave it, do nothing then its game off whatever happens. Worst scenario by turning up at 8am is we find there is nothing we can do, have a cup of tea and go home. As poll once said (well more than once actually) you do what you can.

See you all in the morning ;)
