Do you think Paul is just trying to make everyone happy by having the duel registrations? So they get game time if not included in our squad?

It's possible they've had a team meeting and one of the topics was unhappiness with team selection. Sim's been fairly vocal on Twitter about not being happy as a sub and I imagine a few others are like that too.

So yep, you could be onto something.

Major things happening at The Grove.
The Master Plan will see a protest by Dave Hawley and John Cooper that Stamford and Spalding have no multi gender toilets and no vegan sausage rolls on sale!
10 points deducted for them both.
Job done!

Not as progressive as Corby with their four choices of Male/Female/NonBinary/Scottish toilet facilities.

Any more thoughts on this?

With Mills gone gone and Ezewele(!), Birch, Sammons, Redhead, Turton(!) and Bunn sort of gone, aren't we a bit short now?

From the last match -

1. Platt
2.
3. Quaynor
4.
5. Morris
6. Evans
7. Donnelly
8. Hayward
9. Insall
10. Gregory
11.
Subs:
12.
14. Cobourne
15. Tonge
16.
17. Kelly

Plus the new wingback and the lad from Worcester Wizards.

Am I forgetting someone?

Can someone talk me down off the roof here?

As I understand it we have first call on all the dual registered guys. Presume the match day squad is selected and anyone left over gets a game with the other side to maintain their fitness. I’m desperately hoping I’ve got it right ????

That's my hope too, but it looks odd - they train with us all week, and we release them on Friday evening? Saturday lunchtime? And they pootle along to play for Redditch or whoever, having first introduced themselves to their new teammates?

True (other than Mills, and I guess Sammons), but in 40 odd years I've never seen so many done at once, and generally when it's done, it means that they're at the very least half way out the door, which isn't great either from a mentality perspective.

Still clinging onto the soffits...
