It's possible they've had a team meeting and one of the topics was unhappiness with team selection. Sim's been fairly vocal on Twitter about not being happy as a sub and I imagine a few others are like that too.

As I understand it we have first call on all the dual registered guys. Presume the match day squad is selected and anyone left over gets a game with the other side to maintain their fitness. I’m desperately hoping I’ve got it right ?

That's my hope too, but it looks odd - they train with us all week, and we release them on Friday evening? Saturday lunchtime? And they pootle along to play for Redditch or whoever, having first introduced themselves to their new teammates?

True (other than Mills, and I guess Sammons), but in 40 odd years I've never seen so many done at once, and generally when it's done, it means that they're at the very least half way out the door, which isn't great either from a mentality perspective.
