Good win record, but with the asterisk that they picked up a side going well in a largely poor league.

Taking the league stats, it's played 22, won 13, drew 4, lost 5. That's 43 points at 1.95 points per game.

Over the course of season, that would equate to 74 points, which is way off what we need.

Definitely but that doesn't mean it's right for the club to bring someone new in. There are five weeks until the end of the season. Do you think that's enough for someone to come in, assess the players and probably impose a new playing style? Well, imposing a playing style at all would be an improvement, but you get my drift.

Most managers usually bring a few players with them, that they have worked with before, which wouldn't be an option at this stage of the season. Paul Smith knows most of these players already, and they know him.

There is now a possibility that things may change enough for us to win the play offs. Who knows. But I do know before this morning's statement we had the arse end of bugger all chance. Bring it on!

I wonder if he will keep the players who wanted to fight the fans on Saturday, should be chucked out! Probably be in the squad for Saturday no doubt
