Liam McDonald was my postman whilst also playing left wing for us!

He woke me up one morning to accept a parcel for my neighbour.

Steve Claridge was a particular favourite player of mine. One evening many moons ago i went into a McDonalds near the M5, I don't even like McDonalds, not sure I've been in one since. I digress. In the corner was a dishevelled unshaven character. His sleeve appeared to be hanging in the pot of sauce......

Have you ever "bumped into" one of these? No club shop in the land sells such merchandise. Made to personal order. I know Woodhouse also exists.
They don't make 'em like that anymore.

Andre Francis was a former student at the school I work at. His award for outstanding achievement to school life is still on display by the toilets I have to escort students to during exam season.

Lee hendrie and Ian Taylor are also former students but I haven't found any random memorabilia for them.

Back to the theme of this topic, having ordered curtains from the business of a member of the first FA Vase Wembley squad, they were fitted by David Bayley. If you remember him, a separate topic could be started on his like.
I remember David Bayley's goal away at STFC in a foggy Snr Cup in the late 80s. Never seen since though.

Is the topic to which you allude, "Former Yeltzmen whose names are a bit like those of famous photographers"?
C'mon, lets have yer Yeltz-based photographers etc....

Didn't The Clash write a song about a Vietnam war photographer called Sean Flynn?
D-Annie Liebowitz McDonnell.
Man Ray Anslow.
err..
That's about it...

Flashley Sammons
Lens Hines
Film Caldicott

Also - wasn’t Leroy May a keen amateur photographer? I assume that’s where the nickname came from?

I was thinking of players that never started a match but scored a goal in their sub appearance
