Seen a few names chucked around already, and notice Bren Kelly was there today (apparently he also applied for the Worcester job as well as Carl Abbott and his new hair). What are people's thoughts? Perspnally, the idea of Craig Nicholls stepping up is certainly one I like the look of.

All I will say is whoever comes in cannot make wholesale changes. We have no time to take that on board. It needs to be seemless for us to have any hope this season.

Unless performances dramatically drop I think the management team we have at the moment know the players, the systems they like. Why not plan to stick with them for the season ?

It sounds ideal BUT...Im not sure if the team we have at the moment are proven/ wanted to be managers prior to today. Can anyone clarify??
If not, Id probably say no but Id hope theyd stay. If they are/do then thats a very tough decision.

Agree.
I have confidence though in our 'top team' making the right decision to take us on.

Don’t think I like it, but I suspect it would work.
Martin Carruthers.

This could prove to be one of our biggest ever appointments. Usually when a manager comes in the only way is up, or it's a new season. Whoever comes in now will have to hit the ground running to keep us where we are. Maybe if the current backroom staff are prepared to carry it on, it might be worth considering. They know our strengths and weaknesses and I would imagine already have the backing of the players.

I would agree that if Martin Sockett wants the responsibility of being the main man, it would make sense. Wouldn't surprise me if Asa was then the assistant. He was in the dugout today. If neither off those then Brendan Kelly would be favourite, due to the Bromsgrove connections.
