The only players to acknowledge fans today.

I know players read this forum, and if you're one of those who went straight down the dressing room, without acknowledging fans, you're a disgrace, frankly.

Platty apologised on his way off the pitch. Fair play to him especially as he was one that never had to!

Shit performances happen, and at times, the opposition may fight and want it more than we do. That's football. It happens. I can forgive that. They're humans, not robots. We move on.

But one thing players should always do is acknowledge and appreciate the support. Win, lose or draw. They were quick enough to applaud fans infront of the Shed End on Tuesday evening, when all was rosey.

It's such a small gesture, but skulking off down the tunnel as soon as the final whistle blows is really disrespectful to the fans. Especially after a no-show performance like we witnessed yesterday.

I'm probably being a miserable bastard, as per, but this particular issue really riles me!

There are times the best thing to do is get off a pitch as soon as possible…… when there are idiots wishing to hurl personal abuse would you wish to engage with them

Very bad day at the office and players simply wanted to get away from it

The important area is the response for the next game

Yeah I kind of get both sides. Id walked out in disgust by then. Personally, I wouldnt have wanted them to applaud, and likewise I wouldnt have wanted to applaud them. As you say, put it right tomorrow.
