According to the squad photos Jack has been on there since the start, and the others added as announced. Was he on a 2 year deal and we therefore have control?

Hope so. In a confident team knocking the ball around Jack really comes to the fore. If we are playing well he is a player that takes the team up another notch again and that may prove really important when we are challenging for the title next season.
