So Boston are in the play off final for the National League North. They finished 7th and 31 points behind the champions ..31 bloody points

Exactly this. Belper, Boston, Marine ⦠the list goes on of teams having a great last 10 games and gate crashing the play offs and gaining promotion at the expense of teams who have won the marathon not the sprint. Iām with Andy on this .. they make a farce of playing a full season.

I'm with OG on this even though the third placed team are my home town team. I've never been a fan of the play off system. It was introduced as, and still is, a money grabbing exercise by the FA. ...and if Chesterfield win the other match today the final will be 6th v 7th.
