Central defender Aaron Roberts has joined Pitching In Southern Football League Division One Central club Halesowen Town.

The 27-year-old arrives from Midland League Premier Division side Worcester City, where he made 13 appearances and scored 2 goals this season.

A legendary figure at Southern Premier Division Central outfit Bromsgrove Sporting, Roberts is the club`s record appearance maker with 235 competitive outings, having previously been with Bromsgrove Rovers, Hednesford Town, Alvechurch and Studley.

He was involved in two league championship wins, two further promotions, three cup triumphs and a run to the semi-final of the FA Vase while with the Rouslers before leaving for Evesham United in March 2019.

He made 31 appearances for the Robins in 2019/20 before lockdown

Well he'll be good to sit next to the coach driver if nothing else

How come he’s not been involved in any friendlies? Has he left already or just injured?

I think he must be on dual registration as still playing for Worcester.
