It sounds a lot, but without doing the maths (ie waiting for HH or Noggin to do it) I wonder if it's enough?

Conference National total = £2.009 million
Conference Regional total = £1.29 million
so that's a fair amount of wedge a month

I can also work out the amounts each league below get in a simple format of take the league name and multiply by fuck all (yes yes I know we get our capacity gates

)

You work it out by diving the number of goals scored by the number of goals conceded, then multiplying by the average age of the side, divided by the number of spanners in a Sidchrome toolkit.

I was more wondering if it was sufficient recompense for the gates and sundries that they're missing out on.

It will be close for the lower gated clubs without doubt. Though doubt it even covers all of it for them. It's caused yet another COVID storm on the National league forums etc........ you can't please any of the people any of the time, or something like that!

Being realistic this money should be just enough to keep a club ticking over. Many, many other walks of life are not being compensated to such a level. As long as it is enough to stop clubs folding and employees are collecting a wage, for the time being that is sufficient. This is not a time where clubs at those levels should be looking to improve their playing staff or any other outlays that are not necessary to survival. I would not be happy if a club with no income was given a pot of money and then came and took one of our players. Like all other businesses, if they are given enough to get through this then that's good.

Just to add to that though, if any club does need more to stop it folding then maybe the FA could step in to keep them alive until normality returns.
