I guess there wouldn't be much point thinking about attending Saturday. Unless there very early would be unlikely to make the first 150. With it being so long since a game with crowds I would imagine a lot of people will want to go. Fair way to go and be turned away.

I cannot help but think it'll be the same at the Grove when they play the 3 friendlies. 30% of the capacity is 300 at the Grove? How are the club going to "police" these events? As I'm sure people's appetite will be whetted from last seasons exploits and the lack of live football. Will the club make the games all ticket? As I'm sure there will be casualties in the way of fans.

Maybe those who have shown loyalty to the club by already purchasing season tickets would be given preference?

I thought our capacity was just over 3,000?
I'm even more confused now

it appears that the maximum permitted number is
a % of the minimum figure for ground grading at that level. The net effect of that is a ceiling of 300 now and 600 later at step 3 grounds and 200 now, 400 from 31st Aug at step 4 grounds. Poll posted a table with the rules earlier this week.
I made the same assumption as you. I don't know which of us should be more worried by that

I havn't been to a friendly for 25 + years but was going to go over to Hinck on Saturday just to see some live football but I'm now thinking along your lines Andy.
Looks like stopping home and repointing the patio slabs then

Cheers Nogster, it's starting to make sense.
And, 'tis you that should be worried

so if the capacity is set at 1000, how many tickets were sold for the home leg semi-final against Concord ?

3000 were available, including the Concord allocation according to the numbers I recall from the recent supporters forum.
As I understand it, the constraint on current capacity is not the capacity of The Grove it is a % of the minimum to meet ground grading for the league level. That is why the numbers permitted in the current situation are higher for step 3 clubs than for step 4 clubs - step 3 minimum capacity is greater than step 4 minimum capacity and therefore the temporary ceiling is higher.
To be honest, it is refreshing that admittance is being allowed at all and the rules seem easier to manage than taking ages to take the circumstances of individual clubs into consideration.

Hmmm. Tough one that and I see your point. However, given work commitments, I go when I can, travelled lord knows how many miles to fit games in over the last few years, bought merchandise and donated to both fundraisers. I think I'm loyal since my rekindling. Im sure Im not alone. But I dont think you can measure loyalty on just a season ticket, which isnt always suitable for all.
As I say I see your point completely, and against the two game a season wonders/ Trophy band wagoners completely valid, but its not that simple as a blanket rule. I might be being irrelevant anyway as I dont think we have 300 season ticket holders.
Just my thoughts and not intent on provoking a row!!
