As someone has already remarked "the momentum has gone". I'd tend to agree.

Why would it have to be behind closed doors? By the time they got round to arranging it we will be playing back in front of crowds at our level.

We don't know that, there's nothing yet that says when crowds are coming back, only stricter messaging about behind closed doors from the Gov't.
And it wouldn't make much of a poll is everyone voted for the option we all want, an FA trophy win in front of 40,000 at Wembley. :P

But surely we do know. It has been stated that Non League football will not start without crowds. And we start on September 19th.

The papers are a bit hopeful with their interpretation imo -
We are currently working with DCMS and other key stakeholders to understand the timescale for the return to spectators at sporting events. Initial discussions have identified that it will be difficult to return to competitive matches without the ability to welcome some form of spectators to matches. There is no current available or formal guidance.

It would be interesting to know the Club's take on all this. You would assume that as season tickets have been sold there must be at least something in the offing. That said though, reading the link it would appear not. ???

Well for me. If we lose behind closed doors, its no biggy. Not as heartbreaking as seeing it live. Play it. Our memories wont be tainted whatever, and we could just add another cup to the cabinet.....
